SwiftSage: A Generative Agent with Fast and Slow Thinking for Complex Interactive Tasks
Last week, I cited a paper that proposed a tree-of-thought approach to System 2 thinking. SwiftSage, developed by the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence and the University of Southern California, combines System 1 and System 2 thinking to “solve real-world complex tasks.” The corresponding GitHub repo is here.

In an attempt to up-skill or re-skill people to meet the growing global demand for AI skills, Microsoft and LinkedIn are launching a free program to teach generative AI skills. Those who complete the coursework will earn a Professional Certificate in Generative AI.
