Collaborative Intelligence Week in Review - 26May2023
I do a lot of research and reading about AI and CI. I’ve decided to publish a curated list each week of things I found valuable or interesting. This is the first edition. I hope you, too, find something of interest.
Best business article(s) I read this week…
Understanding the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Personalized Engagement Marketing. Kumar, V., Rajan, B., Venkatesan, R., & Lecinski, J. (2019). California Management Review, 61(4), 135–155.
Describes an approach for creating, communicating, and delivering personalized offerings to customers. It describes how AI can be used to generate options and information curated for each customer. While I don’t agree with all their predictions, overall, the article offers interesting insights and guidance.
Investigating the Influence of Artificial Intelligence on Business Value in the Digital Era of Strategy: A Literature Review. Perifanis N-A, Kitsios F. Information. 2023; 14(2):85.
The authors review 139 articles on the topic of using AI for business advantage.
Best technical article(s) I read this week…
Drag Your GAN: Interactive Point-based Manipulation on the Generative Image Manifold. Pan, Xingang, Tewari, Ayush, et al. ACM SIGGRAPH 2023 Conference Proceedings. 2023.
Describes techniques used to create a Generative AI tool for image creation that enables users to generate images using drag-and-drop mouse movements over the images. It was also the coolest thing I saw this week (the link to the video is below).
Most interesting site / tool I discovered…
Quivr, an open source app that wants to be your second brain in the cloud.
Coolest thing I saw…
This demo video for DragGAN, a generative AI image-creation tool.
